Malaysian Actress Nuha Jes Izman Makes Hollywood Debut In Yellowjackets
Nuha’s character Crystal is introduced in Season 2 of Yellowjackets as one of the main character’s best friend.
Malaysian actress Nuha Jes Izman, 20, made her Hollywood debut in the second season of Yellowjackets.
Nuha plays the character Crystal, a member of the Yellowjackets soccer team and a theatre kid, who’s also Misty Quigley’s best friend from the past.
Misty is one of the main characters played by Christina Ricci (adult Misty) and Samantha Hanratty (teen Misty).
Crystal’s first appearance in the show was when Misty caught the musical theatre enthusiast singing a show tune as she exited the bathroom.
Nuha told Hollywood Life she was into musical theatre as a kid so it was quite easy to channel the character.
Her sweet and innocent portrayal of Crystal won many fans. Due to Misty’s troublesome past and present, the fans soon voiced worries that Crystal might be killed off early.
