Malted Chocolate Brownies
To our minds, the perfect brownie is one that’s chewy on the outside and fudgy on the inside. And this batch of brownies is just that. They're made even more crave-worthy thanks to an unexpected malty oomph. Chocolate or vanilla malted milk powder is mixed with cocoa powder to add another layer of flavor that’s irresistible. Before the brownies bake, a generous handful of chopped malted milk balls (Whoppers!) and a pinch of flaky sea salt get sprinkled on top resulting in a caramelized crunchy topping that’s equal parts malty, salty, and sweet. This easy dessert is guaranteed to be a showstopper.
