Check your Facebook – you may have a stranger lurking on your account.
If you want to avoid devastating hack attacks, you'll need to make sure your settings are as safe as possible.

We're talking about Unrecognised Login alerts and Two-Factor Authentication.
Both could help you avoid being compromised by crooks online.
Go into your Facebook Settings and then look for the security section.
Then go to Get Alerts About Unrecognised Logins.
Meta – which owns Facebook – will warn you if someone logs in from a device or browser you don't usually use.
Then you can check your account and log out any suspicious app sessions.
You'll be able to see who is logging in from where, and on what device.
