Monaco Telecom is enhancing its customers' calling experience with the introduction of Voice over LTE (VoLTE), a cutting-edge technology that promises faster connections, superior sound quality, and seamless cross-border communication. Activating this service takes just 20 seconds, aligning with the Principality’s reputation for technological innovation.
Tangible Benefits for Users
VoLTE significantly improves call performance, allowing connections to be established twice as quickly as traditional systems. It also features full high-definition EVS (Enhanced Voice Services) technology, ensuring crystal-clear audio quality during calls.
One of the standout features of VoLTE is its ability to maintain high-speed internet access while on a call, enabling users to browse the web without interruption. For those who frequently travel across borders into France, VoLTE offers impressive continuity, with 99.65% of calls remaining uninterrupted during border crossings.
No Extra Cost
“Investment in our mobile network is our priority so that we can constantly improve our customers’ experience,” says Martin Péronnet, CEO of Monaco Telecom. The VoLTE service is available at no additional cost to all mobile customers, making it an attractive upgrade for users.
Despite 88% of customers having compatible devices, only 48% have activated the VoLTE feature to date, which represents less than half of the 36,000 eligible mobile lines.
To assist customers in activating VoLTE, Monaco Telecom’s advisors are available at their Fontvieille and Monte-Carlo stores, as well as through their Customer Service department and at La Maison du Numérique.
