More co-operatives empowered in Nchanga Constituency
Another set of Sixty-nine women and youth cooperatives from Nchanga Constituency have received phase two of Constituency Development Fund empowerment grants as startup capital.
The grants received are between K5000, to 25,000 to all the groups.
The clubs and cooperatives granted represent all the 11wards in Nchanga constituency.
Speaking at the handover ceremony Nchanga Member of Parliament Derrick Chilundika assured that all the cooperatives and clubs who applied has been approved and no one will be left behind.

Mr Chilundika assured the remaining cooperatives and clubs that two more phases are remaining and they will be catered for as well.
He has urged the recipients to utilize the money for the intended purpose and not to share the money.
Mr Chilundika said the grants are meant to empower clubs and constituencies in boosting their business.
He said that once the money is utilized properly then people will see development in their communities.
Mr Chilundika who is also Luapula Province Minister said that the grants will be given to everyone despite of their political affiliation. Read More...
