Mozambique will invest in electric bus assembly line
Mozambique is going to invest in an assembly line for electric passenger transport buses. This is a private initiative sponsored by the Government, through the Ministries of Transport and Communications and Industry and Commerce under the National Program to Industrialize Mozambique.
The news was made public last Tuesday in Maputo, after a meeting to present the project, attended by the Ministers of Industry and Commerce, Silvino Moreno, of Transport and Communications, Mateus Magala, Deputy Ministers of Transport and Communications, Amilton Alissone, Mineral Resources and Energy, António Osvaldo Saíde, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Electricidade de Moçambique, EP Marcelino Gildo Alberto, senior staff from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy, EDM and the private partner, mentor of the project.
