Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă states, today, in a post on Facebook, that only three months after the inauguration of the first express road in Romania, the one that will connect Pitesti with Craiova, the number of kilometers put into use has doubled. He states that the express road, which is now 40 kilometers long, marks the beginning of the big infrastructure projects that the Government is preparing in this area of ​​the country, informs News.ro.
"Just three months after the inauguration of the first express road in Romania, the one that will connect Pitesti with Craiova, the number of kilometers put into use has doubled. To the 18.5 km opened to traffic in April, another 21.4 km are now added, which allow the BalÅŸ-Slatina distance to be covered under a high-speed road regime. After BalÅŸ, Slatina is the second city on the DEx12 route that gets rid of heavy traffic on the streets. In addition, the new bridge over Olt will allow the necessary repairs for the bridge DN65", states the prime minister in the post.
