Peru's President meets with Apurimac and Ayacucho mayors
The President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, held a meeting with mayors from the Apurimac and Ayacucho regions to effectively coordinate and enhance a diverse range of projects related to development.
These projects encompass key sectors such as education, agrarian infrastructure, healthcare, sanitation, and transportation, among others.
During the gathering, the Head of State informed the attending authorities about the progress being made in the implementation of a plan to address frost-related issues in Peru's Andean regions. The President also emphasized the importance of providing timely assistance to the affected populations.
Moreover, the highest-ranking official expressed the Executive Branch's unwavering commitment to collaborating closely with the mayors present at the event.
Accompanying the President and the mayors were technical teams from various ministries and specialized organizations, including the National Civil Defense Institute (Indeci).
Representatives from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, as well as the Ministries of Labor, Production, Housing, Agrarian Development-Irrigation, Transportation-Communications, Economy-Finance, and Education, were also actively involved in this significant gathering.
