Good news for drivers: petrol prices are set to drop again next week, while diesel prices are expected to remain stable.
Industry sources claim that since there won't be any price rises next week, drivers shouldn't worry.
According to the Automóvel Club de Portugal, petrol will get less expensive but diesel should stay the same. The price per liter of 95 gasoline will decrease by 1.5 cents if all is validated.
The ACP points out that these projections are predicted on the government's extraordinary tax cutting measures continuing indefinitely in order to offset the price increase.
