The Trưá»ng Sa (Spratly) Archipelago and the life of the soldiers there are captured in a photo exhibition by veteran artist Äoàn Hoài Trung in HCM City.
The event is called Trưá»ng Sa - Nhà Giàn Qua á»ng Kính Nhiếp Ảnh (Trưá»ng Sa Archipelago - DK1 platform in the East Sea through the Lens).
It features 90 photos taken during Trung’s five trips to the archipelago. His latest trip was taken from May 11 to 19.

The photos portray the beauty of Trưá»ng Sa and the daily activities of the soldiers who are protecting the country’s sovereignty over the sea and islands.
Each work is lively and brings viewers a feeling that Trưá»ng Sa is so close to them that they can just open a window, and see, touch and feel.
“I hope my exhibition on Trưá»ng Sa will help to spread love for Trưá»ng Sa and bring the islands closer to the people on the mainland,” said Trung, chairman of HCM City Photography Association.
“I hope viewers, particularly youngsters, will improve their patriotism, national unity and a sense of responsibility after watching,” he said. Read More…
