Poco M4 5G will debut today in India. The company will launch its new budget 5G smartphone at 12 pm. The 5G phone comes days after Poco unveiled the Poco M4 Pro 5G and the Poco M4 Pro 4G in India. The Poco M4 5G will be the company’s most affordable 5G smartphone in the country.
Poco has already teased some of the key specifications of the M4 5G ahead of the launch. The phone will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The budget 5G phone will also pack a 5000 mAh battery. We can expect the phone to support 18W fast charging at least.
At the front, there will be a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display. The Poco M4 5G will also support a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. At the top centre of the screen is a waterdrop notch for the front camera. The M4 5G will come with a dual-camera setup. The camera module sits on a thick black island, which has the Poco branding on the right-hand side. It will come with a 50MP main camera sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone has an 8MP front camera sensor.
The Flipkart microsite also confirms that the Poco M4 5G is IP52-rated for splash resistance. It will come with support for seven 5G bands in India. The device will weigh about 200 grams. It will launch in three colours - Yellow, Blue and Black.
