Porto Home Rental Prices Continue to Rise

The average rental values in the Porto district have seen an increase this June, according to data from Imovirtual. Renting a house in June 2024 now costs an average of 1,300 euros per month, reflecting an 8.33% increase compared to the previous month, which equates to an additional 100 euros.
Matosinhos remains the municipality with the highest rental prices. However, Maia experienced the most significant price hike this month, with average monthly rents rising from 900 euros in May to 1,375 euros in June.
The cost of buying a house in the Porto district has also increased. As of June 2024, the average price is 383,700 euros. This represents a 2.32% increase from May 2024, when the average price was 375,000 euros.
These rising prices indicate a growing demand for both rental and purchased properties in the Porto district, highlighting the region's robust real estate market.
