President Hichilema welcomes Saudi Delegation to discuss Mining and Investment
President Hakainde Hichilema recently welcomed a Saudi Arabian delegation, led by Abdulrahman bin Khalid Albalushi, Undersecretary in the Ministry of Mineral Resources Management, at State House in Lusaka. The delegation was in Zambia for the inaugural Mining and Investment Insaka.
During the meeting, President Hichilema expressed his gratitude for Saudi Arabia's ongoing support, particularly highlighting the construction of the King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Lusaka.
Discussions focused on potential joint investments in mining, energy, tourism, and agriculture. The President emphasized Zambia's commitment to ensuring that its citizens benefit from the country’s rich natural resources through value addition.
He also expressed Zambia's eagerness to learn from Saudi Arabia's successful management of its oil and gas resources to enhance the well-being of Zambians.
