Protests as Google Shuts Down Popular Hungarian News Channel
The popular Hungarian news portal Pesti Srácok is calling on its readers to join a demonstration scheduled for Friday, after the U.S. tech giant Google has shut down their Youtube new channel for the second time. Google, which owns the video streaming platform Youtube, offered multiple, contradictory explanations to their decision, although there is no indication that PsTV had violated any of the channel’s rules, or broken any laws.

“We never thought we would see this day again. We did not think we would ever need (to reuse) the signs that are now just a bad memory. The signs that we used to march in front of Google’s headquarters and demand what we deserve: freedom of expression. Now we are back again”, wrote the new channel on its Facebook page.
The continued by saying that “YouTube has deleted our channel PsTV, which was renamed PsTV after the demise of PestiTV, without giving any reason. Since the deletion without warning, we have received three different reasons, all contradicting the previous one.
We are well aware of what is at stake. We are well aware of the reason for the cancellation. We are saying what the globalists fear most: the truth.
The journalists have called on their viewers and readers to “take to the streets! We have to show that there are many of us, and stand up for our rights, guaranteed by Hungary’s constitution. We must show that an oversized tech company cannot override the laws of our country. Read More…
