Radical don't celebrate the first of May: Šešelj - Serbs used to go to St. George's Day
MAY DAY is not a symbol of the protection of workers' rights, claims the president of SRS, Vojislav Šešelj.
The leader of the Radicals reminded that the Serbs went to St. George's Day. Also, Seselj insisted that the Happy TV morning program show footage of the celebration of May Day in Hitler's Germany and continued his criticism of the "labor holiday" while watching the footage.
Host Milomir Marić said that the communists forbade such recordings. Seselj said that all workers' rights were abolished in communist Yugoslavia, and trade unions existed only formally.
