AnimaWings, a Romanian airline, is set to launch charter flights on the Monastir-Brașov route starting June 6, 2025. This new service will operate every Friday, enhancing travel options for passengers looking to connect between Tunisia and Romania.
The announcement from Brașov Airport indicates that with the addition of the Monastir route, AnimaWings will offer a total of three weekly charter flights from Brașov Airport. The other routes include flights to Heraklion in Crete and Antalya in Turkey, all scheduled to commence in early June. This expansion reflects the airline's commitment to increasing connectivity and catering to the growing demand for travel during the summer tourist season.
Despite a slow start since its opening, activity at Brașov Airport, Romania’s newest airport, is gaining momentum as the summer approaches. The airport is becoming a hub for various airlines looking to capitalize on the influx of tourists.
In addition to AnimaWings, Moldovan airline HiSky recently announced the launch of three weekly charter flights from Brașov Airport to the island of Crete, starting June 9, 2025. These flights will connect passengers to both Chania and Heraklion airports, further enhancing travel options from Brașov.
The introduction of AnimaWings' charter flights from Monastir to Brașov marks an exciting development for travelers in Romania and Tunisia. With the summer tourist season approaching, Brașov Airport is poised to become a key player in regional air travel, offering more options for holidaymakers and boosting tourism in the area.
