Saie's Dew Blush Is the Secret to Rosy Cherub Cheeks
It’s not often that I’m swayed by TikTok to buy a new beauty product…it’s very often. So when I saw Saie’s Dew Blush pop up all over BlushTok, my interest was more than piqued. The Internet has all but dubbed blush the makeup staple of our time, and when you land on the hashtag's page, you'd be hard-pressed to take a single scroll without being met with influencers singing their Saie Dew Blush praises.
They're not wrong. I could practically hear cherubs playing on little lyres as soon as I dabbed it on my face—and my fellow Glamour Beauty Awards judges agree. So many of us quickly exclaimed this to be our favorite Saie product ever made. Glamour beauty writer Bella Cacciatore, who explains in detail the recent rise of blush, has also given the product her seal of approval which is reason enough to try it out. But you don't have to be a beauty pro to fall in love—this blush has range. Whatever your skin type or tone, and whatever kind of makeup look you're going for, it just fits.
Dew Blush is marketed as a "creamy water-based gel blush," which is a wordy but spot-on description. I've used a sponge, my fingers, and a brush to apply it. No matter what method I opted for, it blended out so well. Ridiculously well. Unscrewupably well. I'm not a heavy blush wearer—I opt for my-skin-but-better vibes—so when it comes to application, patchiness is my worst enemy. But with this cream blush, a splotchy blend is virtually impossible. It goes on like softened butter and smooths right over your cheeks, leaving you with the most natural-looking wash of color—the same flush you'd get when Gran pinched your cheeks.

I opt for the "lifted" look with this blush since it blends so easily. If you follow the technique, it places product higher up on the cheekbone, with the pigment pulled back toward your hairline. It really makes my otherwise-shy cheekbones pop, giving me an instant “face lift"—especially when used in conjunction with Saie's other lit-from-within products. I regularly use Slip Tint (a tinted moisturizer that works well on my dry, flaky skin), Sunglow (my shortcut to “glass skin”), and the Sun Melt bronzer (which applies exactly how it sounds). Just like other Saie faithfuls, I love how thoughtful the brand is in its approach to clean formulas—from the mineral-based sunscreen in Slip Tint to the attention paid to different skin undertones in Dew Blush.
