The Minister of Education, Rosendo Serna, announced that from this Monday, April 25, schools nationwide will have a capacity of 100%, for this reason, he urged parents to continue immunizing minors against COVID-19.
“We will issue the corresponding standard so that it operates 100%. In practical terms, the health sector regulation and the supreme decree must be published today.So, we will issue the technical standard tomorrow and on Monday (April 25) all the institutions have to be enabling 100% of their working hours.”, he stressed to RPP.
Likewise, he indicated that it is important that the use of masks, hand washing, social distancing and vaccination continue in classrooms to avoid an increase in cases of COVID-19.
On the other hand, he mentioned that, during the months of January and February, students will also attend schools to make up classes.
“What I do anticipate is that in January and February we have to have a full recovery and there we are seeing the way.
