In THE WUR 2023 ranking, Vietnam also has 5 ranked higher education institutions including: National University of Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Duy Tan University, Ton Duc Thang University and a new higher education institution ranked in this period. Hue University.
Also according to the results of THE WUR 2023, the top 5 higher education institutions in the world are Oxford University, Harvard University, Cambridge University, Stanford University and Massachusetts Institute of Science and Technology.
In the Asian region, the top higher education institutions include: Peking University, Tsinghua University, Hong Kong University of China, National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
THE WUR Rankings evaluate universities globally based on research into the core mission of a university, according to sets of standard metrics to provide comprehensive and fair comparisons. Based on the scientific database SCOPUS (of Elsevier Publishing), independent surveys and data provided by the university, THE scoring and data processing is provided by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), an independent, professional auditing organization, monitoring the implementation.
