Súmate reminds the CNE that it must activate special electoral registration days

The Súmate Civil Association reminded the National Electoral Council (CNE) this Friday that it must activate special electoral registration days and expand fixed centers to guarantee the right to vote to more than 3 million 500 thousand Venezuelans between 18 and 45 years of age who, to date They are not registered in the system.
Through his Twitter account, Súmate published several articles of the Constitution and electoral laws that require the CNE to effectively update the electoral registry.
They announced a decrease in the number of RE voters
In the month of December, Súmate announced the decrease in the number of voters in the Venezuelan electoral registry, whose last cut, corresponding to August 31, accounts for 21,129,519 voters, 28,497 less than the one approved by the Electoral Power until the July 31st.
Through its Twitter account, the NGO reported that the CNE published the voter registration cut-off until August 31 and assured that, when compared with those published in previous months, it is observed "that the number of voters continues to decline, when there are more than 3.5 million unregistered Venezuelans”.
