The accounts of several deputies and politicians of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), as well as one government official, were suspended from the social network Twitter.
Among the suspended orders is the order of the Director of the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the region, Arnaud Guyon.
"Twitter just suspended my account where I had 34,000 followers, without explanation," Guyon confirmed in a post on Facebook.
The accounts of 12 MPs from the "Aleksandar VuÄić - Together we can do everything" list were also suspended from the Twitter social network, the Open Parliament announced on its Twitter account, Beta reported.
The accounts of Nevena Äurić, Sandra Božić, Milica Nikolić, Jelena Obradović, Aleksandar Marković, Krsto Janjušević, Dušan Radojević, Jelena Žarić KovaÄević, Aleksandra Tomić, Staša Stojanović, Zoran Tomić and Andrijana Vasić were suspended.
Twitter also suspended some high-ranking members of SNS, and among them is the city manager in Belgrade, Miroslav ÄŒuÄković, as well as Slaviša Mićanović, who local media say leads the SNS internet team, reports Radio Free Europe. Read More…
