Thai Justice Minister promises 110,000 baht compensation to deceased victims' families of Mountain B club fire
The Mountain B fire that as of now killed 16 people including Mr. Sittichai Ouilert who passed in hospital yesterday has made its way into the Thai Ministry of Justice’s meeting at 10 AM yesterday, August 10th.

Presiding over the meeting, Mr. Somsak Thepsuthin expressed his condolences and promised to compensate every victim of the fire to the full extent of the Workmen’s Compensation Act, starting with the departed victims first.
“I will personally deliver compensation to the families of the 16 departed victims on August 19th,” Mr. Somsak said during the meeting, “as the Ministry of Justice never ignores the citizens’ adversity.”
For the injured victims, Mr. Somsak said it was a different case because each patient suffered different injuries and thus had unequal expenses; however, the minister said he would expedite the procedures to compensate the injured victims as soon as they made a full recovery. Read More…
