The best formulas to earn money with YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok

“The payment for advertising in Peru and Latin America is very low, compared to the United States. If a thousand people see you in the United States, they give you approximately 10 dollars, here a thousand Peruvians see you, and just 5 soles are generated. Except for a few cases, due to advertising, it is difficult to sustain a career through content creation” , specifies Chu Joy.
In the case of YouTube , to be part of the monetization program, you must have more than a thousand subscribers and have 4 thousand hours of playback in the last 12 months. If you don't get those hours in a year, the system counter will be reset. In the case of Facebook , you can create a page to upload videos and monetize by adding ads, but you must have, for example, more than 10,000 followers and more than 600,000 minutes of playback on your material in the last 60 days.
For now, advertising revenue on Instagram or TikTok has yet to reach content creators, but this year, both have committed to developing new monetization mechanisms.
On these video platforms, what makes the ' influencers ' business sustainable is sponsored content, when the user accumulates thousands of followers and can convince a brand to work with their products as “ambassadors”.
“In Peru, I feel that sponsored content is the most viable way to support content creation. The creation of valuable content is, right now, the main objective, at least in Peru” , he refers.
The trend of subscriptions and donations
In recent years, Youtube incorporated the subscribers system and Facebook followed soon after . The objective is that the followers who wish to collaborate with the account or the page, through a fixed monthly payment that provides them with special benefits.
