The Events feature for group chats has been added to WhatsApp. How does it function and what is it?
WhatsApp, a personal messaging app owned by Meta, is now rolling out a new feature called "Events," which is likely to make it easier to organize meetings, gatherings, and other events directly within group chats.
As per a report by WABetaInfo, the component began carrying out with WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.9.20 update and will before long be accessible to different clients as a feature of a more extensive delivery. Notably, WhatsApp's Events feature was previously only available in Community Group chats; however, the most recent update now makes it available in regular group chats as well.

Users will be able to create Events within group chats by entering information such as the event's name, description, date, location, and details about a voice or video call using the new Events feature.
