The Sentencing Court made up of Elsa GarcÃa, Yolanda Portillo and Fabián Escobar freely dismissed the former Ministers of Agriculture Enzo Cardozo and Rody Godoy, as well as the other co-defendants.
This determination was made by the magistrates when they gave rise to the incident of prescription of the process presented by the defenses.
In this oral trial, Carozo was accused of the alleged diversion of G. 1,219 million during his tenure as Minister of Agriculture, the one who succeeded Cardozo in office was Rody Godoy, who is being claimed for a diversion of G. 2,500 million.
