The National Football Championship suspended until the end of the works
Following the renovation of the Modibo Kéïta and Mamadou Konaté Stadiums, the Malian Football Federation, in a press release addressed to the Secretaries General of the clubs and leagues, announced the suspension of the National Football Championship until the end of the works.
After the closure of the Mamadou Konaté Stadium on February 8 due to renovations, the Modibo Kéïta Stadium was also closed on February 20 for the same reasons. To this end, the Malian Football Federation has decided to temporarily suspend the National Championship.
According to the governing body of Malian football, these two stadiums host most of the matches of the Championship. “The shutdown period will extend until the opening of the stadiums”, specifies the press release.
