The Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, will pay a working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina Today
The Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, will undertake a working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on Wednesday and Thursday, September 4 and 5, 2024. His visit will include stops in both Sarajevo and Mostar, where he will engage in several key meetings and events.
On Wednesday, September 4, Plenković's visit will begin in Sarajevo, where he is scheduled to meet with the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Borjana Krišto, at 11 a.m. Following their meeting, statements to the media are planned for 12:20 p.m. Plenković will also meet with representatives from the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH. Later that evening, at 7 p.m., he will attend the opening ceremony of the Hercegovina bridge near Počitelj.
The visit will continue on Thursday, September 5, in Mostar, starting at 9 a.m. with a meeting with Dragan Čović, the Speaker of the House of Peoples of BiH and President of the Croatian National Assembly of BiH, at the House of HDZ BiH. Plenković will then tour the construction site of the new Croatian National Theatre building, visit the University of Mostar’s rectorate, and tour the University Clinical Hospital Mostar.
At 11:30 a.m., Plenković will attend a ceremony for the handover of a contract from the Central State Office for Croats outside the Republic of Croatia, which will take place in the gallery of the Bishop’s Center. A joint statement to the media is planned at 12:30 p.m. by the Mayor of Mostar, Marija Kordić; the State Secretary of the Central State Office for Croats outside the Republic of Croatia, Zvonko Milas; Dragan Čović; and Prime Minister Plenković.
