The UMH launches 44 face-to-face and online winter courses
"Big Data for everyone", "Cooking Artificial Intelligence With Python", "Eines pedagògiques: El conte en valencià", "Gender equality" or "Diversity" are some of the topics offered in the new edition of the Winter Courses that has drawn up the Vice President for Culture of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche .
The programming will take place between December 2022 and May 2023 with a total of 44 courses , of which thirteen will be taught in person at the campuses of Elche, Sant Joan d'Alacant, Orihuela-Desamparados, Aula Plaça de Baix and the Crevillent Town Hall. The rest of the courses will be taught online through the UMH Virtual Campus.
The UMH Winter Courses, as in each edition, are articulated as a forum for learning and debate with themes and content that are complementary to the university disciplines. They offer perspectives that, in general, are not addressed in other formats of the academic offer and that make it easier for students to develop different skills.
Some of the proposals contemplate the training needs of different institutions and organizations of the public and private sector, as well as civil society, which make up the social fabric in which the UMH is integrated. Some of the courses that are launched, in addition to those mentioned above, are "access to banking for the elderly" , "food safety", "Understanding aging and Alzheimer's disease", "Sexual violence and attention. Detect sexual harassment in your environment", "graphic digital communication" or "Violent conduct, harassment between adolescents and 'dark personality'". Read More…
