Three decoration keys that will help your child to focus on his room
The low performance, lack of attention or reluctance of our children, for school homework, could be generated by the stress of having a space in chaos or where colors transmit tension or burden. That is why it is important to review the place where they study, rest and carry out recreational activities.
The Interior Architect, Carla Montes de Oca, gives us some very important and useful tips to keep in mind when organizing and decorating the rooms of the little ones in the home, because the physical environment in which they carry out their activities greatly influences how to act in different situations.
The first thing to design, distribute and organize a space is to analyze the space we have, starting by being aware of the space we have for it, whether it is: large, medium or small.

A child's room must meet certain basic needs:
1. Rest area , here I recommend using at least a square and a half bed. The one of a square in cases in which the space is extremely reduced, and include a nightstand if it enters the space. Do not use very strong colors or graphics that distract or activate the child. The idea is to be able to choose a wall to place the color or graphic element and that this is the one that goes behind the headboard.
2. Clothes storage area : ideal to have a closet or chest of drawers for organizing clothes and shoes. Let's allocate an area for storage of toys, books or items preferred by the child. We can take advantage of the upper parts to place shelves or modules with covers so we will prevent things from falling. It is important to remember that we should not fill the capacity of the furniture for storage to the maximum, as this contradicts the purpose of using "organizational furniture", having the opposite effect and generating greater stress.
