Observed from the production side, in the first quarter, all production sectors except agriculture and construction recorded year-on-year real growth in production.
The most significant positive impact is provided by the sector of wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles, transport and storage and accommodation and catering services with a positive contribution of 1.8 pp (percentage points).
Followed by professional, scientific, innovative and technical activities and administrative and auxiliary service activities, industry and state administration and mandatory social insurance, education and health and social protection with contributions of 0.4 pp each.
On the other hand, construction and agriculture recorded year-on-year declines of 5.3% and 0.1%, respectively. Read More…
