Tunis will host the first Francophone Humor Festival on October 13 and 14
The first Francophone Humor Festival will take place on October 13 and 14 in Tunis. This event is organized by the Alliance Française de Tunis, an organization which aims to promote the Francophonie in the world.
No less than four shows will punctuate these two days. The stage of the Cité de la Culture will welcome Mr Nouar, Franco-Algerian humorist, very popular in Tunisia, the Belgian Bruno Coppens, the duo Willy and Balla Diop who came straight from Senegal and finally Adel Fugazi.
These artists were chosen by the various partner chancelleries (General Delegation of Wallonia-Brussels, the French Embassy in Tunisia, the Senegalese Embassy in Tunisia).
The Alliance Française is an association whose objective is to promote the Francophonie through two axes.
First, in an educational way, by providing French lessons for children but also adults.
Then, the second axis concerns the promotion of culture by organizing four annual meetings around cinema, African books, music and finally humor.
The festival was called “Normal Enti? ”, which according to the organizers is a way of mixing both French and the Tunisian dialect. Read More...
