The Ministry of Cultural Affairs announces the postponement of the 4th edition of the national book fair to December, with a view to involving all the players in the making of books from the idea to publishing and distribution, announces the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
A steering committee will be set up for the promotion of the book and publishing sector, the preparation of the national book consultation, and the holding of a national conference on the book industry.
This announcement was made at the end of a meeting which brought together the Minister of Cultural Affairs, representatives of the Union of Tunisian Publishers, and executives from the Ministry, around the reality of the book sector, publishing and distribution in Tunisia.
This committee's mission will be to promote the book and publishing sector, to address the concerns of writers and publishers, while simplifying the procedures related to the purchase of books, the subsidy system, the respect of author and others. Read More...
