Two flights diverted from Dublin due to strong winds
Strong winds forced two planes to divert from Dublin Airport last night.
A spokesperson for daa said the planes later returned to Dublin and landed during the night.
Both were Ryanair flights. One was coming from Madrid, while the second had departed from Bristol.
In a statement the daa said: "We can confirm that due to strong wind conditions last night, two aircraft were diverted from Dublin Airport.
"Shortly after 9pm, a Ryanair flight from Madrid was diverted to Shannon.
"The aircraft refuelled at Shannon and returned to Dublin and landed just before 1am." Read More...
