UN committee concerned over psychiatric medicine prescriptions for Swedish children
The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child is concerned about the prescription of psychiatric medicines, such as antidepressants, to children in Sweden.
The committee is recommending Sweden ensures medicines are only prescribed when strictly necessary, and that children and their parents are informed of potential side effects.
