USA leads growth market for Lisbon

A recent study by Mabrian places the USA and Brazil as leaders in the source markets with the highest growth in air capacity when travelling to Lisbon in 2023.
The study, made using real-time data on air capacity, shows how the United States is preparing this year to visit Portugal through the capital. America concentrated efforts on increasing connectivity with Portugal by 30.41% since last year and 31.78% compared to 2019. The three main destinations that most increased direct air connectivity with Lisbon are completed by Brazil and Spain.
The other countries that have increased their air capacity to Lisbon are, in order, Switzerland, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Germany, the last country being the one that has not yet fully recovered connectivity levels with respect to before the pandemic, but shows an increase compared to last year.
