Vodacom Mozambique launches 5G technology
Vodacom Mozambique held recently, in Maputo, the launch of its 5G Network, a technology that will revolutionise the Mozambican market, in a year in which the mobile phone operator celebrates twenty (20) years of operations in Mozambique.
The event was attended by the Minister of Transport and Communications, Mateus Magala; the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Institute of Communications of Mozambique (INCM), Tuaha Mote; as well as Vodacom partners, suppliers and customers, who were able to witness the launch of 5G Technology in Mozambique.
The 5G Network is actually part of Vodacom’s strategy that is aimed, among others, continually expanding network coverage to new rural areas, promoting better network and fibre availability, providing state of the art technology, as well transforming the Vodacom network’s architecture following the strategy adopted by Vodafone (Tech 2025).
