WhatsApp crash: reports indicate that the messaging app has problems
WhatsApp is down? Around 4:00 pm this Thursday, April 28, thousands of user reports assure a drop in the WhatsApp service, Meta's messaging app. The Down Detector reporting portal shows a malfunction in its current graph.
The first reports recorded on the Down Detector website appeared around 3:10 pm. These multiplied in a matter of minutes, reaching their highest point at 4:00 pm on April 28.
Apparently, the fall is global, with reports coming from countries like the United States, France, Japan, Venezuela.
WhatsApp presents global failure
Another of the portals that showed the problem of thousands of users was Services Down, which presents almost 3,000 user reports. The platform's website points to the message " Problems detected with WhatsApp " (problems detected with WhatsApp).
Other monitoring platforms such as Is It Down Right Now have not shown any problems with WhatsApp in recent hours, which would indicate that the drop would have affected only certain territories.
Some users have also revealed their connection problems on social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
Application confirms the fall
Both platforms, Down Detector and Services Down, show a slight pause in the reports after 3:50 pm indicating that the drop would have been temporary.
