Will This Be The First-Ever Liberian Movie To Hit Netflix?
Liberian-American filmmaker, producer and director, Gerald K. Barclay alias “Gee Bee”, recently traveled to Liberia where he has reportedly collaborated with Liberian-American producer Allyson Brown and Video-grapher and director Alexander Wiaplah to shoot a Liberian movie story titled , “NO NOT ME”, starring Artus Frank, Shoana Cachelle, etc.
In a conversation via phone this morning with Isreal Owusu Dahnsaw, who first posted some of the images, which showed a scene shot at Boulevard Place Hotel, told me that “the story is exposing female gender mutilation and the “Zogos” [epidemic] in Liberia.”

The movie is said to be released exclusively on Netflix, which is currently one of the biggest steaming platform in the world.
Liberian actress and producer Korto David who has also worked with the filmmaker on his 2008, Amazon movie titled, “Fatima and Fatima’s Revenge”, alongside Josephus Tolbert has also confirmed the news.
