Wizz Air Announces Important Change in Check-in System

Wizz Air has implemented a new check-in system, bringing about changes for passengers. According to Világgazdaság, passengers now have a reduced timeframe of one day to check in online, which can be done up to three hours prior to departure.
Effective June 12th, Wizz Air has modified their check-in policy for all flights. Previously, passengers were able to check in online within a 48-hour window. However, the new policy allows them only 24 hours for online check-in before their flight, up until three hours prior to departure.
The company has already communicated these changes to all passengers who purchased their tickets directly through Wizz Air's platforms.
It is important to note that this update does not affect passengers who have booked a seat on Wizz Air's platforms after purchasing their tickets. They will still have the convenience of checking in within a 30-day period, up to three hours before their flight.
