At the exhibition in the area of the Zurich gallery "Thalberg" from today until June 17, the works of Đorđe Ivačković, one of our most famous abstract painters - paintings and works on paper, created during the sixties and seventies of the last century, will be shown.
Đorđe Ivačković (1930–2012) completed his formal education in the field of architecture. dedicated his life to painting. Even as a very young artist, he asserted himself as an abstract painter on the world art scene, working from Paris since 1963, exhibiting in parallel on the French and Yugoslav art scene, they recall from "Arte" gallery, co-organizer of this exhibition.
The 1960s and 1970s were very significant for Ivačković's entire creativity, because the artistic work of those years affirmed, celebrated and strengthened him on the international stage.
