World's Stongest Man Eddie Hall is set to retire, but not before competing in the next Britain's Strongest Man event.
The five-time winner will no longer lift the heavy weights, citing health reasons as his reason.
Hall, who took the global crown in 2017, has won Britain's Strongest Man the last five years running and is the competition's current record holder for most wins.
But Hall is looking to go out with a bang and make it six before he leaves the sport in January 2019.
The event, promoted by Giants Live, will take place at Sheffield's FlyDSA Arena.
There, Hall will be hoping to produce a world record 230kg log lift. The Beast came agonisingly close to making the record his own at the recent Europe's Strongest Man event.
Hall set a new British record by successfully lifting a 213kg log, but he could not break the 228kg world record.
With Hall retiring in January next year, it also means the Staffordshire-born Strongman will have a chance to defend his World's Strongest Man title in the Philippines in May.
