Yettel and CETIN Bulgaria Sign 10 Year Deal for Renewable Energy Supply with Elektrohold
Yettel Bulgaria and CETIN Bulgaria, part of the PPF Telecom Group, have signed a 10-year contract with Elektrohold for the supply of electricity from renewable sources.
The main source of power will be a 123 MW photovoltaic plant that is set to be completed in the spring of 2023.
The deal is part of the PPF Telecom Group’s commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Science Based Targets Initiative.
The group is preparing a comprehensive program for achieving its goals, and this agreement is the first major step in the decarbonization plan.
The CEO of Yettel Bulgaria, Jason King, said that the agreement is a significant part of the company’s ESG strategy, which aims to create a completely green network powered by renewable sources.
The CEO of CETIN Bulgaria, Petar Mudrinich, called the agreement a landmark deal and an important milestone in the partnership with Electrohold. Read More..
