5 Life Lessons that I Learned from Camping and Outdoor Living

So I recently had the chance to go on a camping trip.
It was my first time, and I have to admit that there were a few things about camping that I didn’t know about before going.
I’m not just talking about things like peeing in the woods or eating canned beans for dinner (although those were new experiences for me! ), but also some of the more valuable lessons that can come from spending time outside.
I’ve been working on a list of these lessons, and today I’m going to share the top five with you.
Hopefully, some of the things I learned from camping can be useful for others too.
1. Life-or-death situations are no big deal when you’re prepared for them!
When I was out in the woods, I spent a lot of time looking at the trees and wondering how long it would take for me to climb one if we were attacked by bears.
Well, it didn’t come to that, but I did learn the importance of having a safety plan in place before things go bad.
