5 signs your training is working
The body does not lie and it will tell you if you are doing it right –which will gain you many benefits– or if you are doing it wrong –which would prevent you from having the results you are looking for.
There are several signs that your training is not working , but here we focus on those that confirm that our work is on the right track and that it is worth staying there or changing to something more complicated.
It gets easier
A good sign that your routine is working is that it's getting easier to do the sets. The body gets used to and adjusts to physical activity.
Once it feels too easy you can either increase the reps or go to more intense movements that ask you for more (depending on what you're going for).
On the other hand, if you feel that your posture and form in each movement has improved, it is most likely improving. If in doubt, try changing your routine a bit.
It feels in the muscles
It is common for those who start to exercise to begin to notice the impact of it on the muscles.
For example, if we do a workout for 30 minutes or more and feel a little sore afterwards, that means the exercise is working.
But beware, too much exercise can result in too much pain, which can prevent you from following your normal routine .
Once you're used to it and start building muscle, you'll be able to tell it's working if you feel a little sore afterward.
It is not like the previous one that we mentioned, but it feels as if the muscles are inflamed. This happens because we are breaking down muscle tissue so that it can be rebuilt with more volume.
If you already have muscles and you adopt a routine that doesn't leave you with that after feeling, maybe you need to change it for a better one.
On the other hand, another slight sign is that the muscles you are working on look a bit bigger. A hint that the training is working .
You have energy after
A good exercise routine can give us energy naturally, this being one of the reasons why many exercise in the morning.
Similarly, it can be a good option to do it in the afternoon, being able to gain energy for the rest of the day.
If you don't do enough (or do too much) you might feel too tired afterwards, which means the routine isn't working properly.
Exercising at night can be ideal for falling asleep quickly, however, we have to make sure that we are getting a good night's sleep, being that another sign that it is working.
If we are woken up by pain, or if we wake up in the middle of the night, maybe we need to make a change. Read More…
