When an artiste dies, sometimes their estate (whoever has the rights to their music) will allow the release of a posthumous album. That’s what you call work that is released after a creative’s death. Some of our favourite artists died too soon but have posthumous releases that help their die hard fans find some closure. Legends Never Die – Juice Wrld

Juice Wrld (Jarad Anthony Higgins) was born on December 2, 1998 and passed on December 8, 2019 as a result of an accidental overdose. The album Legends Never Die was released seven months after the artiste’s death and topped the Billboard album chart.
Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon – Pop Smoke

Pop Smoke (Bashar Jackson) was born on July 20, 1999 and passed earlier this year—on February 19, 2020. Pop Smoke was fatally shot by four armed men who entered the Hollywood Hills house where the rapper was staying. He died a few hours later in the hospital (source: Vulture). The album, Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon was released on July 3, 2020 and topped the Billboard 200 chart.
