A Cameroonian citizen was detained in Moscow for selling black paper that "turns" into dollars. The victim of the "sorcerer" was a Muscovite who gave 23 thousand dollars, wanting to increase his savings. Thus, the detained Cameroonian became a suspect in the fraud case and was taken into custody.
"Employees of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Zamoskvorechye district of Moscow detained a citizen of the Republic of Cameroon on suspicion of fraud", - said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk, whose words are quoted by the press service of the department.
According to investigators, the attacker, during communication with the victim in the messenger, told about an easy way to increase savings thanks to black paper, which can turn into real dollars. In fact, the banknotes were initially covered with paint, and during the demonstration of the video with the focus, it was washed off, which gave the viewer the impression that the banknotes were showing up. Soon the conman found a gullible Muscovite willing to pay for it. For 23 thousand dollars, he handed over black paper to a Muscovite, but for its creation he used not dollars, but ordinary sheets.
