After a two-year hiatus, the Festival de la Raza returns to Villarrica
With a grid full of national artists such as Merry Makers, Grupo San Valentín, Generación, Purahéi Mbarete, Marilina, Renacer, Tierra Adentro, Los Ojeda, Oasis, among others, the capital of Guaireña will vibrate with a night of pure music.
The Festival de la Raza returns in its 39th edition, after two years of the Covid-19 pandemic, which prevented the development of previous editions. This year a special night will be enjoyed, full of many surprises.
The event was announced through a press conference held at the Spanish Center of the city, where they indicated that a posthumous tribute will also be paid to well-known journalists from Villarrica , such as Guillermo Adolfo Traverssi, Secundino Nino Silguero and Juan Simón Gayoso ( the latter was a correspondent for Última Hora in Guairá for 15 years), according to the director of Culture of the local Commune, Janise Ayala.

Mayor Magín Benítez indicated that this traditional event seeks to extol Guairian culture, offering an artistic space and healthy entertainment for the entire population.
