After election night: The stock market is expected to open higher
The Stockholm Stock Exchange looks set to rise slightly as it opens after a dramatic election night.
According to pre-trade on IG Markets, the Stockholm Stock Exchange looks set to open at around half a percent plus. In Germany, too, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange appears to be moving upwards.
Last week, the stock markets in the US and Europe closed higher, and in Asia it is going the same way now on Monday.
The outcome of the Swedish election will not be decided until later this week, but after the late turnaround in the result during the vote count, the bourgeois bloc now looks to be narrowly leading. A budget must be presented by a new government three weeks after taking office, but it is still uncertain who will be able to present it.
