The stock market climbed – Getinge flew high
The medical technology company Getinge ended up at the top of the podium among the companies on the fine list OMXS30.
Initially, the Stockholm Stock Exchange rose clearly after yesterday's fall, but in line with the development of the leading European stock exchanges, the stock market lost momentum and ended at a modest plus of 0.3 percent for the broad OMXS index.
The OMXS30 index of the 30 most traded stocks rose 0.2 percent.
The wind power company Eolus Vind and the research company Oncopeptides stand out on the broad list with increases of 5.8 and 4.9 percent respectively. On the OMXS30 list, the medical technology company Getinge is at the top with an increase of 2.7 percent. In joint second place on the OMXS30 are Ericsson and H&M, which rose 1.4 percent each.
Housing company SBB and cloud service company Sinch fared worse, retreating 2.0 and 1.6 percent respectively.
The London Stock Exchange and the Paris Stock Exchange rose 0.2 percent each. The Frankfurt stock exchange was at plus 0.9 percent at 6 p.m. The Oslo Stock Exchange closed at minus 3.5 percent. Read More…
