Claro announces Reciclafest 2022, an initiative that promotes the recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). This will take place in the cities of Ayacucho, Huancayo, Cusco, Puno, Huaraz and Lambayeque.
This campaign seeks to contribute to caring for the environment through the responsible collection and recycling of waste such as cell phones, batteries, decoders, routers, modems, among other devices such as blenders, hair dryers, irons, microwaves, etc.
Along these same lines, it should be noted that Reciclafest was created with the aim of decentralizing WEEE recycling in the different regions of Peru, so this year the collection days will be held in Ayacucho, Huancayo, Cusco, Puno, Huaraz and Lambayeque. The first campaign date will be in Ayacucho from August 26 to 28 and the closing will take place on November 16 in Lima after touring the 6 cities mentioned.
“When one thinks of solid waste recycling, paper, plastic or glass is always present, and not necessarily WEEE. At Claro we are aware of this situation and the impacts that exist behind inadequate waste management. This is how, with various actions, we seek to raise awareness and educate the population so that together we can contribute to the care of our planet,” said Anthuanette Nomberto, Manager of Corporate Communications at Claro Peru.
